Hi @karlabh97 are you having a problem launching the plugin? Can you try to launch AE as admin and follow the steps below:

  1. In After Effects, go to Preferences > Scripting & Expressions.
  2. Under Application Scripting, select Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network.
  3. Close and re-open After Effects.

If the problem still persists, please send an email to support@lottiefiles.com for further investigation.

I did as follows in application scripting prefs. Still didn’t work. I uninstalled the plug in via Adobe Creative Cloud and reinstalled it and it worked. My AE is the latest version.

Hey @nicktolentino1 just to confirm, is the issue still valid for you or it has been resolved?
If you have managed to install the plugin successfully, try running the AE software as Administrator. That should work for you.

Hi, I also have this problem, that when I am clicking Windows>Extension>Lottiefiles nothing happens. I have noted above that I should start AE as administrator to solve this problem, but when I do that, the AE start up runs for ever and never opens. So the solution to start AE as administrator is not an option for me it seems.

It must be a way to have a fix that is not needing start as administrator?

I have reinstalled, changed my preferences to allow script to Write files and Access network, changed version from AE 2022 to AE 2021, nothing happens.

I am using Windows 10 on a ZBOOK.

I have the exact same problem as you @jpettersson160! I tried all the solutions named above, but nothing is working for me.
I’m using a windows 10 pro on a desktop.

I have the same problem, recently upgrade AE to 2022 version and the plugin not work.

Hello, I have the same problem. The plug-in was working on Adobe 2021, but now it doesn’t work anymore on 2021 or 2022. The window doesn’t open.
Can I have any help ?

Hi everyone,
I was able to solve the problem in Ae 2022 for windows, just run the program as administrator and the lottie plugin works fine.

Hey everyone,
same problems still not solved.

The new AE 22.01 in English doesn’t run the plug-in on Big Sur 11.6.
Did you receive any respond from the support?

Hi man,
When I try installing this, it keeps saying a different extension of same name exists already even after I removed the non-functional lottie ext I had earlier. restarted my PC too and other tweeks. Nothing is working. Body Moving it is then.
