I can’t find a way to create an animation with text, in this case a timer. If it was a word, it can be done by converting the text layer into a shape layer. In a two-minute timer it is impossible, it would be 120 layers and animate them one by one. Any solution?.
Strange that something so easy to do in After Effects turns out to be a complicated tab to convert.
So you want a timer from Zero to 2 minutes for example? Where the time changes from 0:00, 0:01, 0:02… to 1:58, 1:59, 2:00?
Create 10 type layers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
Offset each of those layers by 1 second and cut their end (Alt or Option + ])
Make them into a Comp and add the scripting for it to Loop
New Comp with the same layers as before, except offset by 10 seconds. Loop it and position it to the left of the one above.
Then do an Colon animation where it’s just blinking
Then add a type layer for 1 and for 2. Trim their starting points.
Export as Lottie
