Hey there,
I’ve used lottie for a little while now for animations but I’m working on a new project where I need my lottie animations to be a bit more dynamic if possible.
So super simple I want to create text with a shape layer behind it where the shape layer expands to the length of the text.
So far I have worked out how to adjust the text in lottie by editing the JSON but I have not been able to find a way of getting the shape layer to resize to match the text length.
I managed to get it to work within after effects using expressions but these expressions don’t work when exported as Lottie.
Does anyone have any experience of getting this or something similar to work?
Essentially I want to create some lower third animations where the text within the lower third can change.
