I’ve created a lottie file in 720x1600, but when I convert it to a GIF the file is only 300x300. When I scale it in Figma it’s pixelated
I’m not sure why you’re getting a discrepancy in resolution, but it makes sense why you would get pixelation from scaling a bitmap gif.
We’re working on improving the GIF conversion on the Figma plugin. Currently, it’s limited to 300x300, and we’re working to bring additional dimensions.
Easiest way is to export your animation from AE as a video (MP4) the import to Photoshop as a “Video Frames to Layers”
From there, resize to your desired size and then export as a GIF with “Safe for Web (Legacy)”
