Login page is emtpy in premiere pro

Hi, I installed Lottie for free, but I don’t get the login screen.

What’s going on?

I am experiencing a critical issue where the LottieFiles plugin panel displays a persistent black screen in Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 on Windows. Nothing loads on the panel interface.

Symptoms:

  • Initially, the panel flickered between navy and black screens.

  • Currently, it stays as a static black screen (Blank).

  • Other Adobe extensions and plugins work perfectly fine.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps, but none of them worked:

  1. Reinstallation:

    • Uninstalled and reinstalled the LottieFiles plugin multiple times.

    • Reinstalled Premiere Pro (Tested on both v2025 and downgraded to v24.6.8).

  2. Rendering Settings:

    • Changed Project Settings > General > Renderer to “Mercury Playback Engine Software Only”.
  3. Cache & Credentials:

    • Cleared C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Local\Temp (Deleted all Adobe/CEP related files).

    • Cleared cep_cache folder.

    • Removed Adobe-related credentials from Windows Credential Manager.

  4. Registry Settings (Important):

    • Verified that PlayerDebugMode is set to 1 in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.x (Checked for all versions).

I have attached a screenshot of the issue. Please advise on how to resolve this.

System Info:

  • OS: Windows 11

  • App: Adobe Premiere Pro 2025

Hi @jamiko6188

Thank you for your patience while we reviewed this with our engineering team.

We weren’t able to reproduce the issue in our testing. We tested the LottieFiles plugin on Windows with Adobe Premiere Pro (including 2025), and it worked as expected. Because of this, it’s likely that the issue is related to Adobe or a local cache/state issue rather than the plugin itself.

The most common cause we’ve seen for a blank or black panel is corrupted Adobe/CEP cache. We recommend trying the following final checks:

1. Clear all CEP data

  • Close all Adobe apps

  • Delete these folders (if they exist):

    • C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Roaming\CEP

    • C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions (remove any LottieFiles folders)

  • Restart your system

2. Reset Premiere Pro preferences

  • Run Premiere Pro as Administrator and test the plugin again.
Hold Alt while launching Premiere Pro and confirm the reset

3. Test with a new Windows user account

  • Install the plugin and check if it loads correctly

If the issue persists after this, we recommend contacting Adobe Support, as CEP panel rendering issues are often tied to the host application. We’re happy to assist if Adobe needs any information from our side.

Please let us know how it goes.
