How to get from a lottie JSON --> back into After effects

Is there a way to convert a Lottie JSON back into an AE file for full editing purposes?

A previous developer made them lottie animations but did not save the original files used. Now the person is asking me to edit them?

I don’t think it’s possible in AE (unless you have the project file)

It’s possible in AE for this u need to have a bodymovin plugin in your aftereffects. After installing this plugin where u have an option called import Lottie animation there u can import the Lottie file as an editable file.

It’s really help me a lot, This is perfect if you don’t have after effects file. Simply open bodymovin and import lottie animation.
