I would like to download some animations either as videos or as animated AVIF (which the website sadly doesn’t support yet).
I noticed that when downloading as a gif you can choose for the background to be transparent. Why is this feature not available for video? I have downloaded some animations with a white background which makes them unusable for me.

When downloading animations from LottieFiles, the option to download with a transparent background is currently available only for GIFs and not for videos.
Most standard video formats such as MP4 do not support transparency. Formats that do support transparency, like WebM with VP8/VP9 codecs or animated AVIF, are not as widely supported or used, and LottieFiles might not have implemented them yet.
The rendering engine used by LottieFiles to convert animations might not be optimized to handle video formats with transparency. Creating videos with transparency often requires more processing power and storage, which can complicate the download process.
