Does lottie support screen video recordings?

Hello Everyone!

I am new to lottie and After effects. I wanted to create lottie animation which included iphone simulator screen recording, adding it to after effects, adding iphone 14 pro case, so it looks like visualised phone and then add some more after effects animations.

I tried to render lottie file with the plugin, but the recording was never visible, does that mean that lottie doesn’t support video, but only shapes and texts?

Quickest and easiest response is no, lottie doesn’t support video or screen recordings.

I’m curious if there is any progress with this. I’ve converted a video into lottie (.json) through the beta encoder on the website. Maybe there is a way to combine the files?
