AE Lottie plugin bloats images in dolottie export

So I have very optimised images linked to animation in After Effects.
But when I export them to dolottie, I get a bigger file, because image included into dolottie is much bigger than my optimised file.
So the file size is unreasonably bigger.
When I unzip lottie and replace the file manually, and zip again - file size reduced significally.

Anyone noticed, know the reason, or contacted dev team, or found a way to export small file?

I think this would be a good thing to bring up to the dev team. Have you opened a support ticket? They’ll usually forward this to them.
