I’m trying the Lottie plugin for Figma and I’m wondering if there is a way to make the Lottie animation loop once when I’m prototyping?
Hi ciara,
Will take this under suggestions and work on adding this feature in.
Awesome, I’m also interested in adding an animation that doesn’t loop, since I’m using it on a micro-interaction.
Did anyone find a fix for this? I’ve got an animated lottie icon and I can’t stop it from looping in my prototype.
Still no fix? This is such a game breaker for me. As an animator it makes Figma redundant for me. Sure I could animate in Figma but you cant do complex character anims and features only done in After Effects
Any timeframe on a fix?..
If not its back to FlutterFlow…
Hey @Andrew_Bedford
In Figma there is a workaround for this,
Duplicate screen with animation
- Screen with animation
- Dummy screen with image of animation (paused/stopped).
Transition from screen with animation to dummy screen with static image of animation (paused/stopped animation) with the exact duration of animation
It was covered in this demo, check it our for more details: https://www.youtube.com/live/sYkYpnCmA0E?si=7nIMsl-XWkX_u4vH
In Figma, set the Lottie animation to loop once by configuring the animation’s playback settings in the Lottie plugin, choosing “loop count” to 1.
