Animate CC LottieFiles plug-in BETA test

Hi there! I installed the new LottieFiles beta plugin to Adobe Animate.

I’m checking to see if anyone has had any success with Animate creating json files yet?

I’ve been doing a few simple tests. So far I have not been able to get animation on the Animate timeline to look like what is being converted to a json file. :thinking:

Attempts:

  • I’ve tried symbol animation: It doesn’t appear in the json file.
  • I’ve tried shape tweening vectors on the main timeline: This does appear in the json file but it looks like the animation glitches.
  • I’ve tried flattening all animation frames into keyframes on one layer in the main timeline: This does appear in the json file but it looks like the animation glitches.

Attempted work arounds:

  • I’ve tried importing all the Animate attempts above into After Effects and tried to make a json file there. All those attempts do not appear in the json file.

Look under Window/Extensions/LottieFiles to export json.
