Client provided project brief - best practices

Hi,

I am interested in hiring a Lottie designer for about 25 pages of an e-commerce app.

Is there a template, or best practices list, for a client not familiar with Lottie to hire a designer?

I have the app wire framing done. I want to send a brief of what I would like animated. I have to imagine there is a better way to articulate what I am looking for. I don’t want to write ‘Make that image animated and move it up and down’.

Also, if any designers recommend an app designer that works with JSON, please let me know.

Any advice?

I think your brief and outlines probably are good enough. I usually just jump on a zoom call and discuss the graphics to get a feel of what they want. I tend to think that takes less time.
