# Xcode and Lottie Effects Not Working

Hi! I am new to Lottie… I have animated a title reveal in After Effects and use Bodymovin to save it as an .json to be used in Xcode. I have a jpg as the backround image that I have applied a gaussian blur effect to. It will not apply the effect when rendered and tested in Xcode. I know that some effects are not supported by Lottie but I thought Gaussian Blur was? Is there something else I could use instead? Or is it because it is a JPEG? Thank you! 🙂
