# Lottie Files in Premiere Pro problem

Hi Lottie Files support,

I’m a big fan of your website and the huge library of animations you offer. However, I’m having trouble using Lottie files directly in Premiere Pro. I know that there is a plugin that can be installed in After Effects to make this possible, but I’m hoping there is a more straightforward way.

Is there a way to use Lottie files in Premiere Pro without having to install any additional software? I’m happy to provide more information about my setup if needed.

Hi. I don’t think it works the way you’re suggesting. What the plugin does for After Effects is let you export your animations as lottie files themselves. You can try to convert an animation on the website (if you have access) to a gif and import that into your premiere project. You can also contact the support here:
